Manuel Bolaño

Manuel Bolaño, born in Galicia, studied in the Felicidad Duce School of Design and Fashion. After a period working with the Mango design team, Manuel Bolaño was selected to take part in the Murcia Open Fashion Show. He has also won awards at the 2007 edition of Bread & Butter, the Madrid Young Creators Contest and the Noovo Festival in Santiago de Compostela. He is participating in the first edition of the Bressol Project for young designers and he has participated individually on two other occasions on the catwalk of the 080 Barcelona Fashion.

Leitmotiv - Woman FW 10-11

Italian brand Leitmotiv was founded in 2007 by Juan Caro and Fabio Sasso. The atmosphere of their creations is on the borderline between Fabio’s baroque and decorative taste and the Juan’s gothic texture.

Nadinoo

Nadia Izruna the designer behind the brand started designing and hand making the first Nadinoo collections in February 2009. She said: “I liked the idea of hand sewing a garment just for the intended wearer, making it special and unique just for them. The idea of deconstructing the process to be more flexible and engaging for the consumer is a concept I still hope to develop further in future collections.”

THE T-SHIRT ISSUE

The T-Shirt Issue is a project by Mashallah Design and Linda Kostowski.
Three people are portrayed digitally by scanning their bodies. The output of this scan is a 3D file, which resolution is defined by the amount of polygons. Linked with their biographical memories a digital twin of the body is thus created, which expands and personifies the garment in a formal poetic way.

Andrea Crews is a collective led by Maroussia Rebecq who performs between art and fashion by federating stylists, illustrators, musicians, video directors and performers. Combining several aspects of contemporary creation, they present and stage their collections as performances, happenings and videos. In opposition to the dominant uniformity, Andrea Crews emphasizes personal creativity, experimentation and independence.
